Honestly, I came into the nail industry later than many others. Before this, I never imagined that I would choose nails as the career I would dedicate myself to. I used to work in a completely different field, so when I first started, everything felt very difficult and unfamiliar to me.
The reason I entered this industry was because my son works in the nail business and always encouraged and supported me to give it a try. My friends also told me, “Why not try it once?” And that encouragement gave me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and begin learning something new.
In the beginning, it was truly stressful. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be good enough, afraid that I was slower than others, and my English was limited, which sometimes made me feel even more insecure. But thanks to the support from my son, my friends, and the kindness of wonderful clients around me, I slowly kept trying and improving every single day.
Now, I have been working in the nail industry for 7 years. I mainly provide basic manicure and pedicure services, and even though I’m not young anymore, I still love learning, listening, and improving myself so I can take better care of my clients each day.
I know my English is not very good, and sometimes communication can still be difficult. Even these heartfelt words were originally written in Vietnamese and translated into English with the help of others, simply because I truly want my clients to understand my sincerity and my heart.
What I always hope for is not only to help clients feel beautiful, but also to make them feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for whenever they come to me. I may not be the best, but I will always do my best to serve every client with sincerity, gratitude, and genuine care.
